Hello, I’m Jacquie — Founder & Director of M:Brace HR.

I’ve spent decades working in senior HR and leadership roles across complex, fast-moving organisations. I’ve supported leaders, built teams, coached managers, designed cultures, and navigated some of the hardest moments workplaces face.

And over time, one thing became impossible to ignore.

Too many workplaces were causing harm.
Not intentionally. Not maliciously.
But quietly, steadily, through poor leadership, rushed decisions, box-ticking approaches, and cultures that forgot there were human beings involved.

I watched good people become anxious, exhausted, and diminished.
I felt it myself.

Work started to feel robotic, transactional, and emotionally unsafe — and yet we all carried on as if that was normal.

I don’t believe it is.

Why M:Brace Exists

M:Brace HR was created because I believe companies can — and must — do better.

Better doesn’t mean soft.
It doesn’t mean avoiding accountability.
And it certainly doesn’t mean ignoring performance or results.

It means recognising that clarity, fairness, and dignity are not in competition with high standards — they’re what make them possible.
